Kermesse 2017

Come celebrate the end of the school year at Alliance Française’s first Kermesse ever on Saturday, June 10!

What is a Kermesse ?

A Kermesse is a traditional French festival organized in schools in June to celebrate the end of classes. It’s usually an outdoor party with a performance by the students, a family day with plenty of games for kids, a “refreshment bar”, and above all in a fun experience!

Bring your family, friends and celebrate the end of the school year with Alliance Française!

What will the event include ?

  • Skits : by AF students and teachers
  • Various games : Eiffel tower ring toss, Bouncy Castle, la pêche aux canards (fishing for ducks) and  Le chamboule-tout (knock down cans).
  • Food : the traditional petit-déjeuner (breakfast)  until 11:30am and then a food truck
  • And a big pinata to finish up this wonderful event !

Admission is free!

Parents and kids can purchase ticket blocks for $5 (8 tickets) onsite in order to participate in the games and win many fun prizes.
