We gather on the traditional homeland of the Dakota People, unfairly ceded in the Treaties of 1805, 1837 & 1851. With respect to the past, present, and future, we honor the Indigenous Peoples including the Ojibwe who have cared and continue to care for this land, their connections to it and the vibrancy of their cultures.
