Vernissage: The Musical Geography of 1920’s Paris Exhibit

1920’s Paris was a time and place like no other. Writers, musicians, dancers, and artists flocked to the City of Lights to be apart of the vibrant culture. On Tuesday, Aug 2 we had our opening night for the Musical Geography of the 1920’s Paris Exhibit in collaboration with students at St. Olaf College. Almost a hundred years later, people flocked to the Alliance to relive this historic time. It was easy to imagine you were in a Parisian music-hall with the piano music in the background and the posters, film clips, and maps filling La Grande Salle. Merci beaucoup to the St. Olaf students for making it a wonderful evening!vernissage
