Mini-Fundraiser

In partnership with our friends at Thomas Liquors, we have curated a pack of wine for this spring’s fundraiser that’s perfectly suited to warming weather, spring flavors, and an adventurous spirit! Some of these wines are new to Minnesota, and others will be new to you – reserve your 3 or 6 pack to discover alluring vintages, new regions, and exciting pairings.

Each purchase includes a 20% tax-deductible donation to AFMSP. All proceeds from this ‘mini fundraiser’ support the programs and operations of Alliance Française Mpls/St Paul.

As we welcome the warmer weather, spring’s vibrant cuisine, and longer days, take a moment to enjoy these engaging, bright and alluring vintages from France. The white wines in these packs are aromatic and textured, including a Petit Chablis that is completely new to Minnesota, and a rare Minervois blanc from Languedoc-Roussillon. Among the reds is Les Grenadines, a light mountain red from the edge of Occitanie, and a vibrant and elegant Bordeaux merlot blend.

About your guide in these wines

PETER VARS

Thomas Liquors’ store manager and specialty wine buyer Peter Vars has a reputation for one of the finest wine palates in the Twin Cities. Peter has completed his certified sommelier studies with the Court of Master Sommeliers, The International Sommelier Guild and The Wine and Spirits Education Trust (Advanced). Peter is very passionate about wine, food and travel and will share his own love for these wines—some of which he stocks regularly, and some which he is bringing in just for you.

Order Pick-Up at Alliance Française Mpls/St Paul

If picking up at AFMSP, please give the name associated with your order to the volunteer in La Boutique and they will retrieve it for you. If the boutique is closed when you arrive, please find the receptionist at the front desk and they will help you retrieve your order. Each pack will be presented in a tote for easy carrying.

Pickup your Spring Wine Club packs beginning March 20.

On weeknights, our doors lock at 6:30 pm, though our building remains open until 8 pm for our evening classes. To pick up after 6:30 pm, please call our front desk (612 332 0436) to be let in to the building.
