French Cinémathèque is the Federation of AF USA’s collaboration with Telescope Film. Each month, they choose a Francophone film currently available to strea. Watch it independently, and come together for a free conversation in English hosted by Peter Debruge, Chief Film Critic for Variety. This month’s movie is The French Dispatch, directed by Wes Anderson.
Festinema Junior returns in 2025! This school program will give young learners the chance to practice their French comprehension while developing a taste for foreign-language cinema. This year, three films will be shown over three days. There is something for everyone to enjoy!

On Thursday, February 27, Analog Dance Works will wrap up the challenge by presenting a reprise performance of The Awe Factor, a contemporary dance production of a horror dream landscape on a plastic island that premiered in May, 2024. They are bringing this work back to the Alliance Française Mpls/St. Paul and will once again graciously trash our lobby for the show! The performance will be half an hour with a post show Q&A. Space is limited, so book your ticket in advance. We can't wait to share this work with you again!
