Covid-19 Policy as of March 11, 2022

March 11, 2022

Due to the decrease in Covid-19 cases in the Twin Cities community and pursuant to the Center for Disease Control’s guidance, effective March 11, 2022, Alliance Française de Minneapolis-St. Paul (“AFMSP”) is suspending its Covid-19 Masking Social Distancing and Vaccination Policy. Wearing a mask while attending in-person events, classes or meetings is strongly recommended but is no longer required. Proof of vaccination or a negative Covid-19 test is no longer required to attend in-person activities. We continue our ongoing mitigation efforts of improving indoor air quality with our updated ventilation system, utilizing outdoor spaces, and reducing capacity as needed.

AFMSP does recommend the following measures for the health and safety of its members, staff and guests:
- Stay home if you are feeling ill or have any symptoms of an upper-respiratory infection;
- Wear a mask if you believe you are susceptible to becoming ill or if you have any reason to believe that you may be infectious to others;
- Get vaccinated against Covid-19 if you are able.

Changes to Policy
The AFMSP Board of Directors and staff will continue to actively monitor Covid-19 developments and related health requirements and recommendations from all relevant authorities, including government regulations and the CDC. The AFMSP may modify any or all of the policy when it determines that such modification or rescission is consistent with the health and safety of all its constituencies.

Questions
Please address questions regarding this policy to the AFMSP’s Executive Director, Christina Selander Bouzouina.
