What to expect

Discover the language of perfume in this two-hour, hands-on workshop in English with Anastasia Sokolow, founder of Maison Sulékó in Paris. Anastasia will initiate you into the world of scent ingredients and their links to emotions in a process that is like learning a language, the language of scents.

Each student receives a kit with twelve essential scents that illustrate what Anastasia discusses as she leads you on a voyage touching on art, scents, and poetry. You will learn about scent ingredients (natural essences, absolute, and synthetic molecules) and how these ingredients are extracted, how to smell them, and how to memorize them, with the help of your kit of scents.

Your kit also contains four perfumes created by Sulékó. As you learn the various tools, processes, and traditions that Sulékó has used to create its perfumes, you will study the four perfumes and see how each reveals the inner self at certain points in life.

This initiation to the world of perfume will help you refine your sense of smell and teach you how to choose a perfume that truly matches your personality and your state of mind, a perfume that narrates your own story.
