Ciné club - Best of Québec Shorts

Join us at the Alliance Française for a movie night featuring seven short films from Québec, part of the legendary program "Prends ça court!" which has been showcasing diverse cinema for 25 years.
These films highlight young talents crafting intimate stories about coming of age, mourning a mother, and dealing with infertility, while also offering dark comedies, brief dystopian tales, and explorations of remote territories near the Ukrainian border.

The screening will be followed by a discussion about the short films led by Abdel Hamouchi, one of our French Instructor passionate about cinema.

Some films will be in French with English subtitles, and others in English with French subtitles.
