SYNOPSIS
Dure bataille is the compelling story of French partisans and escaped prisoners of war led by Georges de Lannurien and René Picard, and their group’s participation in the Slovak National Uprising from August through October 1944 during World War II. Acclaimed Slovak Director Dušan Hudec portrays their story of courage, sacrifice and survival in the foothills of the Tatra Mountains 75 years ago.
