AFMSP Fall Open House 2022 - September 10
The Alliance Française Mpls/St Paul Fall Open House will be an opportunity for our community to join us back in-person at our building that now includes a café and teaching kitchen! Those who come to our building are now able to get coffee, pastries, and lunch on-site, as well as sign up for cooking classes, French language classes, and cultural events. We are so excited to be able to offer a variety of programs to our students, members, and community!
At the Fall Open House there will be booths for membership, for cultural events such as Salon du livre and Soirée culturelle à Minneapolis, for our Fall classes for adults and kids, fundraising efforts, our Capital Campaign, our ambassador program, and more! We will also have a free drawing where you can win prizes in a variety of ways (registering for classes, completing a bingo card, filling out a post-event survey), and a silent auction that will include items such as tickets to French music events in the Twin Cities, gift cards, and baskets from our partner organizations!
Prospective students will have the chance to take sample classes with our teachers, take a placement test on-site to determine their French level, meet our cooking class instructors, and watch a cooking demonstration.
Our on-site store La Boutique will be open with new merchandise in stock just in time for Fall!
Le Café will be open with pastries and coffee for sale! If you haven't had a pain au chocolat or latte from Le Café, you're in for a treat!
Our neighbor Chris Wardwell will also be offering FREE 15 minute bodywork sessions during the open house. You can register for those sessions below.
There is something for everyone at the Fall Open House and we can't wait to see you there!

Chris Wardwell is a bodyworker specializing in John Barnes Myofascial Release, craniosacral therapy, and lymph drainage therapy. The goal of his practice is to help clients live lives free from pain and discomfort. His work is often gentle and does not require the use of oils or lotions, yet is very therapeutic. He has successfully worked with clients of all ages experiencing anxiety, chronic headaches, back and hip pain, as well as helping clients prepare for and recover from surgery. He would love the opportunity to work with members of the Alliance Française community!
