Fête d’hiver
Join Alliance Française for our annual winter celebration: Fête d’Hiver! This year the wintery fun will start at 6 pm on Friday, December 9! It will be a great occasion to reconnect after these difficult years, spend some great time together and meet the French speaking community of the Twin Cities! Speaking French is not required, but being ready to have a good time is!
WHAT TO EXPECT?
From 6 to 8pm
Join us for a variety of activities for the whole family including a movie and face painting for kids, a visit from Papa Noël, a cold buffet, traditional vin chaud, bûche de Noël from Patrick’s bakery, and music!
Ian Hawkinson and Rafi Karpowitz, seniors at Central High School in St Paul in the French Immersion program, will be performing with their small jazz ensemble at this occasion!
For the little ones from age 6, we will be screening Chien Pourri, la vie à Paris (1h02) at 6pm in the Gallery! You can register your kids HERE.
For families who wish, we invite you to bring a small gift (already wrapped) for your child or children with their name written on it. Papa Noël will be happy to take it out from his sack of presents when the time comes! Papa Noël will be coming to the library around 7pm, after the movie.
