Join Alliance Française for our annual winter celebration: Fête d’hiver!
The wintery fun will take place this year on December 13th, beginning at 6pm. Speaking French is not required. Join us for a warm gathering of friends, families, and fun in our building.
What to expect?
6pm - 8pm
CELEBRATION FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY In the library
Join us for a family friendly event to spend time together and enjoy traditional vin chaud, bûche de Noël, and music! We even heard that Papa Noel will be bringing presents pour les enfants sages !
For families who wish, we invite you to bring a small gift (already wrapped) for your child or children with their name written on it. Papa Noël will be happy to take it out from his sack of presents when the time comes! Papa Noël will be coming to the gallery around 7:25pm, after the movie.
Individual ticket - $25 / Family with kids under 12 - $60
For youth over 12 years old, individual ticket purchase is required. The ticket for Fête d’hiver DOES NOT include the ticket for the Dance Party, which has to be purchase separately.

MOVIE FOR KIDS In the gallery
Kids! Let's get cozy, bring your blankets, and get ready for a movie ! We will be screening Kina & Yuk by Guillaume Maidatchevsky.
FREE for kids under 12, registration required.
All kids registered for the movie must be accompanied by at least an adult participating in the Fête d'hiver.

Left alone, Kina has no other choice but to venture into unknown territories. Just a few days away from giving birth, the countdown has started! Will they manage to find each other in time for the birth of their cubs? On their way, they will meet some unexpected friends and ferocious foes across dazzling yet fragile landscapes. This wildlife adventure is a tale of love, hope, friendship, and endurance. It will take you on a journey full of surprises and natural wonders.’’

Join us for a Dance Party with DJ Jake Rudh! Dance to a mix of your favorite French and English songs, with a Christmassy touch!
With more than 20 years of experience in the Twin Cities music scene, Jake Rudh’s reputation as a versatile DJ has become his calling card. He’s known around town as a host on Minnesota Public Radio’s 89.3 The Current and founder of locally lauded Transmission dance nights.
