From his restaurant in NYC, Chef Alain Ducasse, joined by Jean-Christian Agid, will talk about his book.
About the speakers
Alain Ducasse is one of the most celebrated chefs of his generation and the author of several cookbooks. Born in 1956 on a farm in Les Landes, France, he went on to train with great chefs including Michel Guérard, Gaston Lenôtre, Alain Chapel and Roger Vergé. He received his first three Michelin stars in 1990 at the Louis XV restaurant in Monaco. Since then, he has set up schools, created artisan factories and opened restaurants across the world, most notably in Japan, the United States and the UK.
Jean-Christian Agid is the founder of 37EASTPR, a media and business development agency based in the United States. He is also a trustee on the Advisory Board of the American Friends of the Paris Opera and an Executive Advisor to Paris Brain Institute America and the Franco-American Museum of Blérancourt boards. In 2000, JC Agid wrote the book Harvesting Excellence (ASSOULINE) with Alain-Ducasse, a series of portraits of some of America’s best farmers, breeders, and fishermen.
