JIM REILLY’S 80th BIRTHDAY CONCERT

Join us in celebration of Jim Reilly’s 80th Birthday at Alliance Française Mpls/St Paul! Jim has been a friend of the Alliance for many years and we are thrilled to be able to celebrate his 80th birthday with an evening of music.

In the first half of the program Jim will play music by Haydn, Grieg, and Ludovic Lamothe; in the second half he will sing music by French and Norwegian composers, and three new songs of his own to texts by Giacomo Leopardi, joined by pianist Beatrice Giere.

This is a FREE event. However, we encourage you to make a donation. This concert is a benefit for youth programs of the Alliance, including services to young people from French speaking immigrant communities

The Alliance concert is the second of two performances; the first one will take place the week prior, on Sunday, September 17 at 2 pm at MINDEKIRKEN - 924 East 21st Street, Minneapolis, MN 55404. This concert will be a benefit for Emergency Community Services.
