Originally from Morocco, Marouane has been an intern at Alliance Francaise Mpls/ St. Paul for 8 months working at the reception, as the cultural program assistant, and conducting research in the history of the Francophonie. Part of the research Marouane does revolves around the decolonization of Francophonie which mainly entails recognizing the diversity in the Francophone world and deconstructing the colonial mentality of the superiority of French culture over other Francophone cultures.
