La vie quotidienne en noir et blanc : exposition d'Isabelle Skoog

La vie quotidienne en noir et blanc : Isabelle Skoog

Come visit beautiful artwork created by the talented Isabelle Skoog.

Crafted with water-soluble pastels, paint and colored pencils, this unique series of quintessential scenes depict what you might encounter while traveling through France's regions. These drawings are made to evoke colloquial French habits as well as quaint everyday encounters. Creating art allows one to permanently preserve a small memory better than any photograph.

Isabelle Skoog is an artist who works primarily with ink and gouache using a style that is constantly evolving. After graduating with a bachelor's degree in art history and training at the George Cecil Studios in Florence, Italy, she developed a solid intellectual foundation that has allowed her to explore preferences for mediums and subject matter. Based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, her interests in global travel, cultures, and history reflect strongly in her work.

The opening for this exhibition took place Friday, June 4 at 6pm.

The exhibition will be open to visitors Monday through Thursday 9am to 7pm, and Fridays and Saturdays 9am to 4pm. The exhibition will be on display until July 28, 2021.
