This evening event is a taste of viennoiserie and conversation with Chef Heu, owner and executive chef of Marc Heu Pâtisserie Paris. Join us as we learn about French pastry as well as Chef Heu’s professional path to the world of les pâtisseries.

Marc Heu is a French Pastry Chef born and raised in France.
He is the owner and executive pastry chef of Marc Heu Pâtisserie Paris. Chef Heu and his patisserie have been nominated for local area awards including “Outstanding Pastry Chef” (Charlie Award) and “Best Patisserie” (Growler Magazine). His work and story have been featured in a variety of platforms including but not limited to Kare 11 News, Pioneer Press, Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Magazine and Growler Magazine. Marc’s pastries are inspired by traditional French desserts with modern and artistic interpretations on taste and form. He graduated from Lenotre Paris in 2018 with honors (Très Bien/Very Good), in his program, the "Grand Bachelors of Pastry." Chef Heu continued his education by getting certifications in Chocolate, High Viennese and Ice Cream, learning from the world's top pastry chefs. As well, he interned at Pré Catalan, a three-star restaurant in Paris. Later he worked at Stohrer Paris, the first French pastry shop ever created, under the mentorship of Executive Pastry Chef Jeffrey Cagnes. He is happy to be back in Minnesota and to share his passion, knowledge and expertise in French pastry with his beloved adopted home state. 

Cost: $15 for AF members, $25 for non-members.
