France Alumni Day - Explorez les Horizons Éducatifs en france et Réseautez avec des Alumni

Join us for an exceptional event organized as part of the worldwide France Alumni Day to celebrate the international student experience in France! Come explore the various study opportunities in France, from the TAPIF program to other options available to you.


Take advantage of this opportunity to exchange and network with former students who have experienced French education and can share their tips and tricks.

Attend the presentations of our special guests who will introduce the different courses and programs available for studying in France.

And that's not all! To close this evening full of information and networking, dive into the world of French rap during an exclusive musical event.

Conference Guest Speakers:

Marit Fuller grew up in Minnesota where she attended a French Immersion school, which inspired her love of the French language and culture. She completed her undergraduate degree at Butler University in Indianapolis studying economics and French language. Marit then moved to Paris, France, where she attended the Université Paris-1 Pantheon-Sorbonne, and received her masters degree in Modeling and Mathematical Methods in Economics (Modelisation et Methodes Mathematiqes en Economie). Since her return to the Minnesota in 2021, Marit has worked in the energy industry, with a focus on renewable energy generation and project development. In her free time, Marit enjoys spending time with her family and dog, cooking meals inspired by her time in France, and reading.

Jeannine Erickson (she/her) is a Washington born and Minnesota raised writer, educator, and the current Program Manager at Green Card Voices. She graduated from St. Catherine University with a double major in Critical Studies of Race and Ethnicity and French. She identifies as a biracial Black woman and a transracial adoptee and has extensive experience in public speaking, non-profit work, facilitation, intentional community building, and quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis.

Anna Pliam earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Bethel University in 2018. During the fall semester of her junior year, Anna studied abroad in Paris, France, through CIEE. Currently, she is substitute teaching while she prepares for her next endeavor. Whether it’s pursing a master’s degree in teaching or teaching English through TAPIF, Anna looks forward to embarking on the next chapter of her vocational journey.
