Spring Into French - Open House

On Saturday, March 25, join us at Alliance Française Mpls/St Paul to Spring Into French!

From 12 to 3 pm, our doors will be open for anyone and everyone to come and discover all that’s new at Alliance Française Mpls/St Paul in 2023.

Explore the new French and Cooking class offerings for April through June, shop for French and Francophone gifts in La Boutique, try a latté and croissant from Le Café, and check out our tables for membership, cultural events, fundraising, and more! There is so much to explore at AFMSP, you won’t want to miss your chance to Spring Into French with us!

Learn about our friends at The Link!

The Link is a youth and adult led organization which provides a continuum of supportive services to youth and families transitioning away from homelessness, sexual exploitation and the juvenile justice system.​

The organization serves the 7 county metro area and supports nearly 2,000 youth and families each year. 

The Link offers programming in three areas:
- Housing and Services Division: housing and supportive services for youth and young families experiencing homelessness
- Youth Advocacy Division: positive alternative programs for youth in the juvenile justice system
- Safe Harbor Division: emergency shelter, housing and supportive services for youth who have been sexually exploited

Mission: The Link works with youth and families to overcome the impact of poverty and social injustice

History: The Link was founded in 1991 by two local Black leaders and former Minnesota Vikings Players, Jim Marshall and Oscar Reed to help youth on the Northside of Minneapolis who were struggling with poverty, homelessness, getting victimized by crime or recruited into criminal activity. ​

Youth Leadership: The Link is a youth and adult led organization. Because of youth leaders’ expertise, The Link can develop programs that are effective and relevant to those we serve. ​The Link’s Youth Advisory Committee Staff:​ Lead program development​, Co-design new programs, Recruit, hire and train program staff​, Provide on-going oversight & evaluation​, Conduct community professional trainings​, Engage in public policy & systems change work on local and national level.
