Join us at the Minneapolis Institute of Art for an exciting guided tour with Anna Béthune! We will be exploring the development of Modern Art through French painting from the 15th to the 20th century. We will examine the many purposes of art such as its service to religion and to the State, as well as the revolution brought by the Impressionists which gave way to Contemporary Art.

Our guide: Anna Béthune
Although British, Anna Béthune considers herself French having spent the first 20 years of her life in Paris. After studying at Science Po, she studied in Cambridge where she met her husband. 25 years ago his career brought them to Minnesota where they raised their three children. Anna has been a guide at the Minneapolis Institute of Art since 2009 and she loves sharing her enthusiasm for their collections. She is also a guide at the Weisman Museum.
