Learn French to Immigrate to Québec

Alliance Française Mpls/St Paul has now partnered with the Québec Government to offer students who are planning to immigrate to Québec a reimbursement on French language classes through our Alliance Française chapter. Reimbursement is managed by the Ministry…using documents completed by our Alliance chapter.

French is the official language of Québec, and communicating in French is essential to participate in Québec society, whether it is to integrate into the labor market or into collective life. For those who need to learn French for their application to immigrate, the first step is taking classes with us!

AFMSP welcomes candidates referred by the Ministère in Québec. We can register you for our course, and provide language training and learning. Please note that we are also an exam center for the TEF Canada exam.

After you have taken our courses and are preparing to immigrate, you may reach out to us and receive a Certificat de Sélection du Québec (CSQ), with the supporting documents required to reimburse the courses taken after obtaining the said Certificate, according to the terms applied by the Ministry.
