Les Navigateurs de la Littérature - March 9

Alliance Française’s monthly French book club for intermediate readers explores French literature through select passages and discussing the themes, characters and context of a book selected by AF staff. This group is led by AF instructor Marie-Jeanne. Join us at 7 pm. This event is free and all are welcome! It is better to have read the book before the meeting.

This time we will be discussing the literary works of Blaise Ndala. You’re welcome to read either, or both, of Blaise’s works, Sans Capote Ni Kalachnikov and Dans le ventre du Congo, the latter of which we will be discussing online with Blaise himself as a part of our celebration of the Mois de la Francophonie!

This March we will focus on la République Démocratique du Congo (RDC) during le mois de la francophonie. Join les Navigateurs to discover Congolese-Canadian writer Blaise Ndala's novels Sans Capote Ni Kalachnikov and Dans le ventre du Congo.

This zoom event is planned with the author on March 9 as part of AFMSP's 2022 mois de la francophonie calendar, as part of our Francophonie Month dedicated this year to the Democratic Republic of Congo. A meeting with the author will be organized on the occasion, at the end of the Navigateurs event.

Les Navigateurs de la Littérature est un club de lecture en français pour les lecteurs intermédiaires. Nous lisons des extraits selectionnés par le groupe et nous discutons les thémes, les personnages et le contexte d’un livre choisi par un membre de l’équipe de l’Alliance Française. Ce club est guidé par Marie-Jeanne, enseignante à l’Alliance Française.
