Mois de la Francophonie 2025

Découvrez le Laos !

Laos is a landlocked country of northeast-central mainland Southeast Asia with a very diverse landscape of forested mountains, upland plateaus and lowland plains. Surrounded by Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand, it has a population of over 6 million with 49 ethnic groups - mostly Lao, Khmou and Hmong.

This year, Alliance Française Mpls/St Paul is celebrating Laos in all its physical wonder, and hosting events for our members and the Twin Cities community to learn about the cultures, traditions, food, and experiences of Laotian people.

Join us during March 2025 at Alliance Française Mpls/St Paul for an art exposition, culinary demonstrations, a dance performance, literary talks, and roundtable discussions, to discover more about this fascinating country. We hope you will join us in this month of learning and celebration!
